5.0 VS 350z

ok this is to prove my buddy wrong what is faster the 93 mustang 5.0L or a 350z they are both stock what u guys think will win i think the 5.0L

No, it has 302 cubic inches in displacement, puts out @225hp at the crank stock. They normally dyno approx 185 at the wheels.

are there really any other N/A cars in their price range that are faster? i can think of a few FI ones, but id say the 350z is very competetive for its class.

The 350Z has 287HP and 274 ft-lbs, while the 5.0 Cobra has 235HP and 285 ft-lbs. The Cobra has less HP but more torque, plus I think it is quite a bit lighter than the 350Z. Gearing in the Musting may also be a large factor.

It'd be a driver's race, as far as I'm concerned.

the lx 5.0 isnt lighter, and its numbers are 205hp/270 torque. in the real world its always a drivers race for the most part, but technically speaking there is a clear winner.
