Elise toon *WIP*

I decided not to seppel's thread any more and branch off to my own for the Elise toon. I have to finish this by tomorrow, so hopefully I can finish without hurrying too much. If I can I'll try and do some extra stuff too. Instead of my usual old 1280x960 pics, I went to 1600x1200 this time... it's bigger than my resolution, but I wanted that extra fidelity. Should be fun.

I finally remembered how I'm gonna color it but I haven't decided on a final body color... that may come near the end. Usually I do these in more than one color anyways.

It's right now around 20 layers, but in the whole process I've probably used 40 or more then merged them down again. It took 4 just to do that one brake disc!

It's still only resting on one tire too... the advantage of being lightweight I guess

Man, that's sweet. I think even if you just finish up the front a bit, you can leave it as it is and it'd still look good.

It now has paint... just gotta finish that front vent! It's a tough one. Same for the headlights, I have one done but the one close to the camera's a bitch!

Last one before I go, I just had a while to mess around so I put in a ground and sky and stuck as many layers as I could together to make this:

It's also exactly 40 layers now... and the .psd is 11.3 megs. Yikes.
