Anyone Here Have Shaw Digital?

Hey guys, I thought I'd post here to see if any of you guys could help me out with a problem I'm having with Shaw.

I ordered Fox Sports Canada last nite, and still haven't recieved the channel...so when do I recieve it?

It doesn't happen overnight. It took me like 2 days to get BET.

Thanks, I wasn't too sure cause I've used On Demand a few times and since you get what you order right away I was kind of expecting that, but now I kno how long to expect it to take.

BET is where it's at! It's like 99 cents per month and I get to see all the new urban videos. On a side note I also enjoy shows where comedians don't use racial indifference to provoke laughter

Shaw on Demand is simple one time billing. With ordering an actual channel it's some what of a complicated process. If you dont have it by wednesday just give them a call.

Takes 2 days for it to go through the system?! I have Starchoice and whenever I order a new channel I call their 1-800 number and I have the channel in a matter of minutes, not days.

On a side note...BET is the SHIZZNIT!

Well I e-mailed Shaw about it, and they replied saying Fox Sports had been added as of whenever they sent it, I went and checked and it was there.

So I'm guessing they just wanna be lazy till someone asks about it?

Hell yea, I watch BET all the time too. They have great stuff in the morning...I don't watch the comedy too much though. 106 and Park, Cita's World and whatever the countdown in the morning is are great. Plus you get a ton of sports channels.

when you order the channel, it goes in the shaw system in what is called a delayed work order. Basically someone will do it as soon as it gets to your turn. Anytime you order a channel like that, it is processed in the way it is received. Say, if you ordered it on Friday, you'll get it later because more people order channels on Friday and the people who enter the information in do not work weekends.
