    Polarized ownz!

If you do a lot of driving, or anything near water, you'll thank yourself.

Polarized are good. It really brings out the definition in the terrain, clouds, etc...

But if you have to read any type of screens that are polarized LCDs, you might have a problem. Things like a GPS, nav screen, etc... At some angles, the screen will appear black.

Polarized lens also won't work under helmet visors (i.e. bikes, racing, etc.) You'll get a "rainbow" effect.

But they're great for water events (i.e. boating, fishing) and in winter for snow reflection.

BTW you can pick up polarized cheapy shades from Sportscheck for about $30.

I've tried Polarized and they are wicked driving. I just can't justify their cost.

These cost US$90 including shipping from Quebec, same as the ones I bought. They retail for $230 at the local Sunglass Hut.

Polarized or die for me. I use em under my bike helmet just fine (it's not tinted or smoked).

No problems with cell or digi cam, just need to alter the angle slightly if you get checkers or black. Tinted window also looks funky from outside, but fine looking out.

    Polarized for sure.

They eliminate most of the glare. It is useful for a lot of fishing as well, as you can see the fish in the water!

Versace you are paying for the name. If you are going to shell out that much might as well get something that is a little better then a lens that has just been sitting in tint.

If you want quality and still have a brand name, get yourself a pair of revos, maui jim or serengetti with a glass, polarized lens with mirror coating. Even oakely is not bad.
