Spectacular! Does anybody have any good cleaning products I can use? It's hard to get those swirls out of the paint. I can use this as an excuse to get those spinning hub caps and little blue flashy lights. I'm a shoe-in for best mini-van!

I'm not sure if I feel comfortable racing the minivan though, I have a hard enough time seeing other cars on the road, nevermind pilons

Is the Auto-X a trophied event this year? Or is it just for fun like last year? Anyone know?

    OH - *AND*

Why isn't Legendboy running his car in the drag? That's one quick car and it'd be awesome to have on the GO team!

well, if it is like edmonton last year, this is how it goes.

Everybody races for a couple of hours to get their best time to qualify.

Then they take the top 24 in order of ET.

    Group A = 1-8
    Group B = 9-16
    Group C = 17-24

They pair you off and the winner advances, no matter what your time is.

You can only win your group, as in the winner of group A does not race winner of group B or C.

Read the rules carefully about equipment. I think that if you run slicks, you get put in the outlaw class. I don't think Beyond will get points for winning the outlaw class.

You can borrow mine if you want to go (but that requires you to not be lazy)

I'm kicking myself right now for not having my car running in time for this
Will beyond be at SCC at Budpark on Sept 17th?

fuck i don't know if i want to put my whole interior back in just to race + i would have had to register 7 days in advance without it

i seriously would have to buy all new clips and shit to get my interior back in

but i think BFG drag radials would be ok in the regular class

BFG drag radials would be fine. And drag tire that is of radial construction is fine. Just can't have a bias-ply drag slick.

But you can't have a stripped interior. You'd be an outlaw in that case. I didn't realize your car was that way. LOL.

    Oh well...

I pm'ed Corey about his wicked fast G3 as well as from my understanding, the Auto X is basically FTD wins a prize and bragging rights...as well as the respect...and to some thats the most important...lol

    Dont worry about registration...

I spoke to Markis this morning and he said not to worry about that...

Essentially just show up at the gates and let them know you are Repping Beyond...either with Drag, Auto X or for the show...

and they will guide you accordingly...
