first use wax remover
yep, and then a heat gun or hairdryer. If there's any residue, Goo gone works, or use wd-40.
Bought not built!
Goof Off is good stuff.
or else tar/bug remover works pretty well too for taking off the residue
Noooo be careful of chemicals etc on paint... I used a hair dryer on low and lightly heated the spot to peel off the sticker. The paint will bubble if it gets to hot from a paint stripper
Hahaha! Like that time we were getting those annoying decals off the side of your car, eh?Originally posted by EG STyLeZ

This stuff kicks ass. Works best if you heat it up with a hair dryer or something like everyone mentioned. Peel it off, and use it to get the left over sticky off. Highly recommended
haha oh that was a bitch... i did one side, had residue shit left on the other side, and for a year i said i was gonna take it off, butnever did it.. my uncle ended up doing it for me when i got my front end redoneOriginally posted by D'z Nutz

When I removed my emblems, there was the nasty OEM adhesive backing to get off. I used one of those little "micro furnaces" from Canadian tire or whoever and it was perfect....it is hot enough to make the adhesive nice and soft, but not so much it will damage the paint. Just a thought.
