    Exclamation Removing stickers.... stupid american flag stickers..

    argh i been trying to get this off, but its not doing so well. its like a paper bumper sticker but has wax coating so is water proof.... anyone know hwo to remove these kinds of stickers?

    yep, and then a heat gun or hairdryer. If there's any residue, Goo gone works, or use wd-40.

    or else tar/bug remover works pretty well too for taking off the residue

    Noooo be careful of chemicals etc on paint... I used a hair dryer on low and lightly heated the spot to peel off the sticker. The paint will bubble if it gets to hot from a paint stripper

    Hahaha! Like that time we were getting those annoying decals off the side of your car, eh?

    This stuff kicks ass. Works best if you heat it up with a hair dryer or something like everyone mentioned. Peel it off, and use it to get the left over sticky off. Highly recommended

    haha oh that was a bitch... i did one side, had residue shit left on the other side, and for a year i said i was gonna take it off, butnever did it..:tongue: my uncle ended up doing it for me when i got my front end redone

    When I removed my emblems, there was the nasty OEM adhesive backing to get off. I used one of those little "micro furnaces" from Canadian tire or whoever and it was perfect....it is hot enough to make the adhesive nice and soft, but not so much it will damage the paint. Just a thought.
