so far....theres been minimal action with the oil but they just traded Isbister (awesome trade to free up some cash for needles)..

but this is what im really waitin to hear.....haha

i'm in the same boat as you . moved here about 4 years ago but still love my oiler's. i'm also watching closely to see who their gonna pick up. i hope they don't make a huge mistake again like they did with adam oates.

who have they resigned? is smyth back? salo laraque? there should be some good battle of albert's this year given the messed up schedule... don't they both meet like 8 times??? can't wait to watch some hockey and get drunk.

salo's gone....signed over in sweden somewhere....were countin on conlin or markkanen to hold the fort this year....

they gotta sign smytty yet....and i think laraque is good to go....

agreed...oates and isbister were wash ups....and dvorak better step it up this year....i'd like to see niedermayar in edmonton....we need someone to quarterback the pp and have a number one defender...smith or brewer just aint cuttin it....

oil also need to pick up another forward....
