    Default Poor Medical Treatment II

Hope I don't get shit on for this but here goes:

Bad idea to post and take off for the long weekend...

Anyways, Friday I went back to same doctor. He used some new glue (balsam) and more Steri-Strips and managed to close her up. Direct from him, I may well need to have some plastic surgery to clean it up once it heals.
As it sits now I've got a bit of numbness and a wicked looking cut (it's mostly closed up).

My main point here is that the doctor did make an error and I was really pissed about it, and felt the need to do something about it (even discuss it with him rationally after my anger had subsided), but my only way to see him was to sit in the waiting room for another 3 hrs.

As with anything when I have a problem: car, house, or personal I want it solved in the most reasonable and efficient way possible, and it's frustrating not to have the means by which to question the service (or treatment as was the case) immediatly.

In no way am I trying to pull some cash out of the system, I just want my concerns heard... End of story

I dont see the problem? Did you expect there NOT to be surgery to clean the cut up? The doctor did what he was supose to do , did you want stitches instead? You would have still needed surgery to clean up the scar... No matter what, you will have a scar . A DR does not have the means to make your cut go away completely , thats what surgery is for. Numbness is from the actual cut that you did to yourself , not what the doctor did.

Better yet, why go to the same doctor twice (after he allegedly mistreated you previously)...
