    Default ATTN: Hamptons Area Resisdents

Anyone happen to loose or know the people who have lost a little brown dog? I have it in my possetion right now, but am not sure for how long I can keep it, it has no tags or tattoos so I dont want to take it to the SPCA and watch them put her down.

Let me know if you see people asking or know people or am the person.

I know this sounds wierd , but let the dog back outside , and slowly follow it , see if it goes home.

Alot of people make the honest mistake of takin cats in like y ou do .. But some cats are smart enough to walk home

But anyways , thats awesome your keeping it so it doesnt go to SPCA

Well I am taking it back with me where i found it as there is a get together over right where I found it, taking some FOUND DOG my # posters and hanging them all over.

The reason I don't want to let it go and find its own way home, wherever I go it seems to just follow me, and if it wantd to find it ways home, then it wouldnt have been running out infront of traffic and such, too risky if you ask me, I may give it a shot but I don't know.

I've already had one lost dog owner call me but it wasnt the right dog. People care to much about there pets not to go hunting and look for posters and such.

    ALSO

I guess it would be Hamptons/Edgemont area people, it was right on Country HIlls so it could have been either!

Your a good person for taking the time to do all that.. Phone the dogg pound, and let them know you have it.. if i lost a dog, that's the first place i'd look. Good luck!

Shit, is it a brown female with curly hair about 15lbs?

My friend just lost one around Saturday night in the Edgemont area right by the ravine (just a stone throw away across Country hill from Hamptons). Please PM me with pic if possible.

    Thx.

Also try posting it on http://www.petlynx.net... We constantly end up with stray animals in our house and have returned a few to their owners through that site.

And good job on taking him/her in. I love seeing people who do this.

You could also run over to a vet and have them scan the dog to see if she has a micro chip.

I saw a little brown dog running along Country Hills Blvd yesterday between 14th st and beddington trail. I went to turn around to pick it up but it was gone.

WTF so they just let it run off, and dont want to claim it? They should be fined for that!!!

    Just to clear it up.

No they are not treating it badly. They just don't have time for her anymore ever sine they had a baby girl and wife is out of the country most of time on business. They were planning to give it away anyway.

The dog ran due to some kids who were playing with it in the backyard and someone forgot to close the gate.

If memory serve me right, it never liked to be picked up ever since puppy days. But it is an energenic happy dog. Since it was lost on Friday and didn't get picked up til Saturday, it may be spooked a bit after spending a night in the wild.

But it's great that it ended up in a good home instead of a coyote's stomach.

Yeah, I don't understand the Hippo name either
