at first I thought it was cool, because it was the first movie that involved the import scene, and I think the movie itself was ok, just bad acting, and lame storyline. But what I hate about the movie is its affect on society. It has brought out so many ricers with the LED's and the parkbench spoilers, and not to mention the bad rep the import scene now has.

The import scene never had a good rep, this movie just made it worse, as well as informed the ignorant public that lots of flashy go-slow mods = high performance...
