I was looking at a 600R today and i was wondering the difference between the two bikes? Any info would be great.
Thanks

600r makes less power and its more street than sport. more comfy, easier to ride etc
Listen fam, she had a big rack of lamb
And they caused mad problems like math exams
Ask my man, her tits caused traffic jams
How much less? I am leaning to this over the R6 because i will be doing lots of highway riding and i have a 30 min ride to school every day.
Not that much less power... For what you're doing, it'll prolly be a better choice to go with the 600R.
R6
600R
I personally like the R6 styling more..although they are very similar

always been a fan of team green, and ive still gotta pick the kawa.
it makes like 10 or 15 fewer horses, if memory serves, which is pretty negligible considering you can almost never use all of a modern sportbike's power in a city.
the 600r is considered to be the most comfortable 600class sport bike out there, i think... so for touring, it would be pretty nice.
How does the 600R compare to a bike like a CBR600F4i?
cbr600f4i is in my opinion a soulless bike.... evil hondas.
everyone whos ridden one says they are exceptionally smooth, very few faults, but also few, if any things that inspire passion.
i view them as a bland, but fast middleground between the zx6r and r6.
in terms of price, performance, comfort and many other factors.
look at the 600r in silver...its Nice..
compared to the r6 silver 600r silver is better lookin
nevermind about previous post, I was on crack...
Anyways, yea... 600R more comfortable than R6 FOR SURE!

Uhhhh..... Yamha YZF600R not the Honda CBR600RR, idiot....Originally posted by sml
First off, the 2 pics are of the same bike (both R6 since the 600R has it's pipe under the seat)...
Second, 600R is NOT that much more comfortable/streetable than the R6 since everyone complains that the F4 is not track oriented, Honda brought in the 600R to compete with the track racing class bikes from Yamaha, Kawa, Suzuki... Hence the "R" designation... and this is no fake Civic Type R crap, it's the real Integra Type R... Just like the integra, the type-r would hardly be classified as "comfortable", at least comparing to the LS models. I've been on a 600R at the motorcycle show and it's a pretty low riding position... You have to lean VERY forward to reach the handle bars, kinda like the R6... Highly NOT recommended to ride comfortably for more than an hour at a time.
Third, if comfort is your #1 concern, then the 600R is NOT the right bike for you. Try the F4i, that in my opinion is one of the most comfortable sport bikes avail from any Jap contenders. Second would have to be Kawa zx-6.
