Check out the legendboy thread.
P.S. If you are worried about a CAI hurting your warranty.... a tubo is not going to help.
i realize that, but i wasnt really sure how warrenties worked before hence asking the question about cai

there is probably a reserve on the item. I dont think he'll lose out on $550 after only 500 miles on the thing.
But that does look like a good turbo for a civic, almost same specs as mine.

ok looking turbo just remember you need alot more to go with it....
the turbo is fine, just don't buy one from ebay
Machining, Fabricating, Welding etc.
Legendboy is right. If you are going to buy online buy from a reputable turbo dealer or buy locally where it will be far easier to deal with warranty, quality problems, etc. With the turbo craze over the past few years alot of cheaply made garrett clones have turned up all over the internet & ebay. They will not last as even though the physical dimensions maybe the same and look identical, the materials, and manufacturing tolerances aren't. I would only buy a turbo made from real garrett or mitsubishi parts (not a big turbonetics fan).Originally posted by legendboy
