I want to make my own V-TEC indicator light and I was wondering where the V-TEC solenoid is, or if there is any other point in the car where I could wire the light out.
Thanks.

You could wire it from the VTEC signal in the ECU. You wouldn't have to run wires through the firewall that way.
The VTEC solenoid (for B and H series anyway) is right beside the valve cover. You should see a one wire connector coming off of it.
Solenoid is on your exhaust cam.

why is everyone hating...what's wrong with having a light in my car that tells me when V-TEC kicks in?

i think they are jealous. just ignore them. I wanted to have one in my RSX when i had it... turns out I-VTEC works different and the light just flashes on and off all the time.

Honestly, I can't feel or hear the difference when VTEC 'kicks' in. I need a light too.
