Man, one point we drove through was amazing, green grass, and mountains surrounding us, and the rock was all sorts of colours, purple and such. Hope someone got some pics of that area.

So, here's the pics of mine that I thought turned out OK. Nothing amazing, but not terrible, either.

First stop: Black Diamond. We lost an AMG, imagine that! Whoops.

We cruised through some really nice scenery, unfortunately this was my only pic that didn't completely suck.

"Prevent Odours", my ass. this thing was quite possibly the rankest damned thing I've ever smelled. At least one of you knows how bad it was.

So we headed for the return leg, here's a nice Corrado that was subjected to my tool kit and automotive hackery.

The distributor broke. Whee. And everyone thought that we'd decided in our infinite wisdom to take a leak 5 min outside Calgary.

Another thanks to 88CRX (I'm SO bad with names, forgive me!) for giving me a lift back into town. I'll get you a beer sometime!

dammit... my plane was about 4 hours too late for me to participate. Oh well, theres always next year. Looked like fun.

"Bloody fragging hell" indeed

Well, my baby is even more damaged now, for as my dad was leaning over the engine to fiddle with the distributor, he leant on my air intake, and all you saw was a HUGE spray of green fluid as the radiator casing went CRACCCCKKKKKK

so, after spending hours and hours of searching, $60-odd to purchase, and 10 minutes to install, two weeks after getting a replacement radiator, my dad cracks my new one >.< Ah well, it's been that kind of evening

And yeah, that outhouse was fraggin NASTY

doh...sorry to hear about all your troubles..hope it all works out in the end...

I gotta say though that you drive your car like you stole it....when I was behind you after the first stop I observed a lot of smoke coming out the back ;P

Hehehe that wasn't like I stole it, that was me pretending to be a performance driver. Yeah, I know it smokes a bit, I mean jeez, 306,000 km without a rebuild? Damn rights it's gonna be belching a little. But I mean, for the age, the amount of smoke it blows is tiny in comparison to, say, any other car of that age that hasn't had a rebuilt engine...

No.. we went south to Black Diamond for our first stop, then proceeded to go west at a decent trot (ahem) to Highway 40, then up to the "lunch"/second stop with El Stinko Del Outhouse, then up to Kanaskis Village for third stop/Corrado broken fan

then up to either the 1A (twisties) or 1 (straight) back to Calgary, where I proceeded to fuck my distributor up right good and have get towed back home behind my dad's diesel truck

The route is very commonly called "The Highwood Pass." Google it
