BMO Mosaic - 18.9%
The trick is to find a credit card that offers a low intro rate (around 5%) and a similar regular interest rate as the one you have, and pay off your debt to the low rate (usually 6 months). Then try and pay it off in those 6 months. That way, you don't lose anything and get an extra 6 months at a low rate to pay off your debts.

That's why I pay them off completely each month and never carry over a balance on these cards.
RBC Visa sends me these "Visa cheques" that are good for up to six months at 3.99% & 4.9%.
Some credit cards give you an introductory rate that's very good. Bad thing is that it only lasts a few months.
For the love of god be careful with companies that sell you a credit card for use in their store... Most of the companies are going through HSBC (Formerly Household Financial) and the interest rate on that little guy is 28.8% ann...
I know that citibank has 1.9% on balance transfers for 12 months

My MBNA Mastercard was at 2% for the first 2 years, and now it's at 18%.
Do these fuckwads call you every second day? I canceled my card because even after asking to be removed from all their shitty lists I still got calls...Originally posted by LadyVenom

yes, MBNA has sent me crap repeatedly over the years. It's so frustrating cause I have asked to be removed but I continue to get crap.
Guys seriously consolidate your debt if your carrying lots at these stupid rates. Interest rates are in the toilet and you should take advantage, go get a line of credit at your bank, it will cut your interest payments in half, maybe more.

CIBC Select 10.5% ..
Student Mosaik, 18.5%. I could pay 25 bucks a year to get like 9% or something, but I pay my CC off so it's just a waste of money.
TD Emerald Visa - 10.65%
