"Marion "Suge" Knight was shot inside of a Miami night Club during a Kanye West-sponsored party for MTV's Video Music Awards, according to people in attendance.

The Death Row founder was admitted to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg and was in good condition at Mount Sinai Medical Center. He was reportedly treated for treated for a fractured leg resulting from the bullet.

Knight was attending the Shore Club in Miami where Kanye West, Common and John Legend held a G.O.O.D. Music party.

Sources at the Shore Club told AllHipHop.com that one shot was fired in the club's Red Room and the shooter was apprehended at the scene. Other sources said that police were still looking for the suspect and interviewing witnesses.

Julia Beverly, publisher/editor of OZONE Magazine, was headed inside the club when she said police rushed inside.

"I don't think anybody knows exactly what happened. I was walking in and a cop shoved me back and police are telling me Suge got shot," Beverly told AllHipHop.com. "They had about three or four blocks taped off. Some people are talking out of their a** and there are rumors flying every where."

Another eyewitness inside of the club when the shooting took place spoke under the condition of anonymity.

"We heard shooting. Everybody got on the floor, but you couldn't see anything. I couldn't see, but I believe Suge was hit in the leg. I didn't see it but that's what people said," the witness said.

There were approximately 600 people inside of the Shore Club people at the time of the shooting.

Police were not available for comment as of press time."

this acutally all started because Fat Joe made a song with JaRule long ago. 50 made fun of Ja of course, then made fun of Joe cause of that.
as a comeback, FatJoe said something lastnight at the VMAs about the police, hinting that 50cent hangs out with cops and is a rat basicly.
then no doubt 50cent after his performance said something in front of everyone.

IMO these hardcore GANGSTAS' are really immature in many ways. I think they don't deserve to be famous at all, they are supposed to influence ppl and set an example not just rap about being "in da club, rolling on dubbz". Compared to the days of Tupac and Biggie, most rapers these days have minimal creativity and talent (specificly g-unit). I mean all i ever see them do all the time is being in some sort of "beef" and popping drinks in tha club with tha homies.

i usualy like to listen to rap, but lately this all is getting just plain stupid and im getting bored of rap. Sure g-unit makes some catchy songs, but after a lil while they get just plain boring and repeditive.
