I like Paros on Main in Airdrie.
Ouzo on 4th St SW is fantastic and their service is good!
That one place in the gas station on 17 Av SW isnt so hot though:S

I've only been to Broken Plate (Willow Park), and Opa for greek food in Calgary. The Fairmont/Bonaventure changed to a Pho place for the past 2-3 years before I get a chance to try.
At Broken Plate South, I do like their burning cheese. (sake-nappy or whatever it's called, too lazy to Google)... that cigar leaf looking poop meat roll, I didn't enjoy as much.
I should had stuck with my usual Zeus Chicken that I've been getting for the past 5 years going there, can't believe I switched it up with their pasta special... For the price, should had went to Chianti or Toscana for pasta.
Service and atmosphere always pleasurable... And it seems like a go to for yyc desperate housewives from the neighbourhood, completely different feel than the Olive Garden in town.

I like Greek food but find it surprisingly expensive. Santorini on centre street is my favorite. Calypsos further north is nice and run by Greeks, but has other dishes in addition to Greek food. A little too friendly with the service though.

I went to Santorini on Centre a couple weeks ago and would definitely go back it's the best of the Greek restaurants I've tried in town.
I still vote for Crete souvlaki (gas station 17ave x26ish st SW). The others might be more authentic but the gas station store tastes better

Paros Souvla in Royal Oak is their "fast food" version. That's my go to and favorite calamari.
+1 for Santorini. Their Lamb is great. I don't even like Lamb but they slow cook it and season it perfectly. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Greccos on 17th Ave is great. They have a variety of different things (including the best pizza in Calgary) and have some really good greek food as well.

My go to is Plaka's in Shawnessy, small place but the food has always been amazing and service is always great.
My benchmark for Greek places are a few staple things (being Greek):
Roasted lamb
Tzatiski
Baklava
Olives quality
My favourite has been Santorini's on centre, Calypsos on centre and Spiros on 17th ave SW, in that order. I haven't tried them all but most.

Another vote for Paros (in Royal Oak). Been to plenty of Greek restaurants but love the food at Paros
