I remember getting our milk like that for a while when I was younger (yes, in Alberta), but I haven't seen bags of milk like that for a looooooong time

An American brought it up with me a few months ago and I found it extremely odd that they didn't have this as well.

I used to live in Ontario, and we certainly had milk in bags. In fact, there was a point in time where they sold mini-versions of these in my elementary school. It was actually fun to drink milk from a bag. :P
Haha, wtf?! I've never seen milk in a bag. Stupid Ontario.
It's like sucking it straight from the teat. Mm-mm tasty.Originally posted by Xaroxantu Zero

I remember the bags of milk in Manitoba and Alberta.
Most of the people on this forum are too young to remember them.
Lol interesting, better than in England how most people get milk in 1L Cartons which don't expire for ~a year!, you store it in your cupboard so you always have some available.

when i used to spend my summers in ontario all stores had the milk in a bag. at first it was weird haha but i grow to love it cause milk is so good!
And here I'm thinking why is this so strange? How else do you get your milk! hah. I actually didn't know that it was only some kind of regional thing. I've Gotten it in bags all my life. I buy a few extra bags and toss the extra in the freezer too sometimes.
