Mainly just looking for some new music, any good sites with a good selection ? Looking for rap/hiphop/rock mostly.
I've found Songza, Grooveshark and TuneIn your best choices.
8tracks.com is pretty good
8tracks has an app on iPhone and Android
with this though, it's not really online radio...people have created playlists (8 tracks) in different genres

TuneIn Radio
We run Pandora at home and I like it.
For some reason I was never able to get TuneIn dialed in and struggled to find stations that I liked.

2010 F-350 Nortruck Tool Shed
2007 BMW 5 (Wifey's)
2004 Audi A4 1.8T 6spd Stage III w/ Meth

music.cbc.ca is pretty good too
soundcloud and slacker
You didn't specify free or not.
So, SiriusXM. Now that you can customize stations (MySXM) it's by far the most awesome way to listen to radio.
I use songza and jango at work.
I used slacker radio a few times, it was pretty good.
Happiness starts at 3000 rpm.
I paid for Live365, no ads has been awesome, it was ok with the ads but I walked my dog with it and used it at work.
I removed my XM radio in my Forester and put in a Pandora radio, LOOOOVE pandora because of the skip function. Sucks you need a VPN though.
Songza and soundcloud
Beatsradio.ca
CLUB 977 - good old 80's songs.

I use the Hype Machine at work/home/in the car (awesome streaming app that also caches songs). If you like finding new stuff and are open to hearing new genres, you'll never get bored of this site.
