Holy hell those zombies are quick. It took me this long to figure out that there is a difference between the White Walkers and the undead army units.

Hardhome was mentioned in the books, but the scene wasn't in the books: start at 3:00Originally posted by nzwasp

Hahaha so much for a massive boost in forces from the Wildlings.
I wonder if the series is going to take on a different direction from the future books after this season. Either that or the author (name escapes me) is going to have input into the story line and base his books around the tv show.
It feels like the white walkers are going to take the iron throne before Daenerys comes along.

Crazy episode.
Struggling to see the future of jorah. He clearly wants to fight in front of the queen again, but grey scale makes that a short term win... Anyone see a future for old grey balls?
White walker fight was great, but scary. Weve seen in the books, and the show, that the wall is scaleable. Unless the walls magics prevent the white walkers from scaling it, the nights watch has about 3 minutes before there's 3000 ghouls over the wall and we hear 8bit game over sounds.

Good episode, much more entertaining than some earlier ones. Very well done scenes too.
So does Valyrian steel do the same thing as dragon glass to the White Walkers? Seems like it.
Yep. In the book, I think they call it Dragon Steel as well. It seems they left all the glass in Hardhome. They'd have to collect all the Valaryan steel to stand a chance lol. Enter Brienne and Tommen who still have Valaryan steel I think (passed from Jaime and Joffrey) and Petyr's Valaryan dagger (from Tyrion).Originally posted by Mitsu3000gt

Stannis's Dragonstone island should have plenty of dragon glass, no?
It should but he's nutz deep in snow atm trying to take winter fell. Will be curious how they get it.. Maybe Drogan flies around and melts half the wall inot a sheet of dragon glass.
Another thought is the Reed family has some stockpiled.
Man, that wildling lady was such a badass and then what happened to her, with those creepy kids...

That episode was insane!!
Spoiler:
Such a nail biter, not being literally from the book had me sweati g the whole time Johns at the wall. Then the Shireen scene got me right in the feels...
But then they redeemed themselves with, fuck ya, dragons!!!
Such a good endin to see those harpies burn, my only complaint is the unsullied seem too few and far between. Didn't she bring like 8000 to Mareen? They were also the masters of short swords in the book, but they seem to be stuck with those spears everywhere.
Oh well, minor nit picks, can't wait for next week.
Stannis the Mannis hype train is officially derailed...
It's okay though, I always liked Ramsay more. He set a horse on fire, like who else would even think to do that? He's such a whimsical psycho
Pretty good episode. At first I thought the dragon was going to die from 2-3 weak-ass spears, but it seemed to be OK.
I was wondering the same thing about the Unsullied. They are supposed to be elite warriors and she had a ton of them, but there doesn't seem to be many left and they die pretty easily.
Just when it starts to get good there's only one episode left!
