Interaxle Diff Lock aka Power Divider is not the same as Full Locking Differential; however, even the Full Locking Diffs disengage when the range selector on the transmission flips from low to high ~20kph.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Interaxle Diff Lock prevents the drive axles from being one open diff and in my case makes divides the power between the 3 drive axles so they each behave like limited slip.
Where I work it was recommended to leave it on in the winter, and it was on that day because we were chaining up due to mud.
I'm on to greener pastures now though.
