I went to the preseason game against Vancouver to check out the new talent and I was pretty impressed with Huberdeau. Weegar left a little to be desired but it was a preseason game so I didn't put much stock in it. Watching last night's game versus Edmonton he really picked it up and was playing great. I wonder if #91 is going to be as big of a pest as the #19 we just lost.

After that crazy offseason I am excited to get back into hockey here and see how this new Flames team shapes up.

Yea, Stone literally came in from the rafters to play whenever someone was hurt and played well. Even in playoffs on a first line D pairing. Flames really taking advantage of the "I want to be here" discount.

Ya know, expiring contracts for MT turning into signed Huberdeau and Weegar is an incredible deal. Still need to see the product on the ice, but honestly, not any more Brad could have done this summer. Summer of Brad, get the shirts made up.
