Yes, and people will move it out of there or they will opt out. This is basically tantamount to IP theft. So good luck with that MSFT.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
My issue with it is it gets about 80% of what I need mixed in with the literal fluff... then trying to enter refinement instructions and get that last 20% or so while trying to make it more concise just ends up being futileThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
It's good for assigning it a structured task to do. It's not great for data retrieval.
My buddy uses it sometimes for python coding, sounds like half the time it's good and the other time it comes back pretty meh.
AI will only get more sophisticated as more info is loaded.
Didn't South Park do an episode on this already!

So what I am hearing is its still mostly useful to waste time on trying to make it say racist and sexist things.

ChatGPT, is PB&J white privilege? If anything, not being lactose intolerant is white privilege!

Sam Altman fired as CEO of OpenAI for “lying” to the Board. Apparently he used ChatGPT to construct his communication.
Does non compete clause even valid in this case? I see MS grabbing Altman and Brockman. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Proven that AI currently just makes poor employees modestly more effective and efficient but great employees it does very little to make them more efficient.

It's cleaned up minor code issues for me with commas or a bracket missing that I could care less to study and find myself.
If I can only get it to reply to dumb emails or delete them.
Any email with "United way" in it, gets deleted before inbox. Guess I just need to build more rules like that.
I'm still using it to actually dig out needed information from thick online manuals, for that it's still awesome - all those little bits and pieces that aren't properly in the table of contents or the index but are vital knowledge. However it seems harder lately to get it to actually dig that out for me - there's a newer level of mental gymnastics trying to find the right prompts to get it to extract/condense that information. Had an encoder / limit switch issue recently - but the limit switch is a prox switch (PLC then counts steps before/after - used as a fixed reference point) - almost had me sitting down with the binder to read before it made mention of the prox switch, then realized I needed to ask about how it functioned and tied in - to get the information. Figuring out what the manufacturer calls something - can be so much fun (especially when it's chinese to german to english google translations)This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Used it for a different use case recently. Step by step instructions on how to do diy car work. For example:
“How do I replace the rear level sensor on a 2013 Audi q5”
Perfect answer including torque specs and everything
The rear level sensor on your 2013 Audi Q5 is a device that measures the height of the rear suspension and adjusts the headlights accordingly. It is located on the driver’s side, behind the rear wheel, attached to the control arm and the subframe. To replace it, you will need to follow these steps:
-Lift the rear of the vehicle and secure it with jack stands.
-Remove the rear wheel on the driver’s side.
-Unplug the electrical connector from the level sensor.
-Loosen the bolt that holds the level sensor to the control arm using a 18 mm socket. You may need to lower the subframe slightly to access the bolt. To do this, you will need to remove the four bolts that hold the subframe to the chassis using a 16 mm socket and a breaker bar. Be careful not to damage the fuel tank or the brake lines when lowering the subframe.
-Remove the two bolts that hold the level sensor to the retaining plate using a 10 mm offset wrench. The retaining plate is a metal bracket that is attached to the subframe. Do not bend or remove the retaining plate.
-Pull the level sensor out of the vehicle and discard it.
-Install the new level sensor in reverse order of removal. Make sure to align the sensor arm with the control arm and tighten the bolts to the specified torque. The torque for the level sensor bolt is 70 Nm and the torque for the retaining plate bolts is 10 Nm. The torque for the subframe bolts is 140 Nm.
-Reconnect the electrical connector to the level sensor and check the operation of the headlights.
^^ that is pretty sick
I used it today to re-write a business development e-mail.
It does a really good job of making mundane stuff sound incredibly pretentious. I couldn't figure out how to work in the word "synergies" and it popped that sucker in there without me even asking for it
