Ho, ho, ho, Santa's got a brand new sleigh, but only if he managed to be one of fifty lucky callers to dial 1-866-303-BMW6 for the chance to purchase a limited edition Neiman Marcus 2004 BMW 645Ci.
Featured on page 107 of the new Neiman Marcus Christmas Book, the prestigious new BMW sold out in a lightning quick 6 minutes and 57 seconds after it went on sale at 12 noon EDT, Thursday, October 16th.
"Our partnership with Neiman Marcus has led to a high-speed sell out of the new 645Ci," said Jim McDowell, Vice President of Marketing for BMW of North America. "Together, we have struck a chord with consumers who want luxury, elegance and extreme driving excitement in one fantasy package."
The all-new 6-Series is the perfect fit for the upscale Dallas, Texas based retailer, its Christmas catalog becoming well respected for selling pre-production special editions like the first run 645Ci coupes. This particular BMW features a custom Stratus Gray exterior finish and luxurious Extended Crème Beige leather interior. Like standard 645Ci's the Neiman Marcus limited edition can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 5.8 seconds, via an impressive 325-hp 4.4-liter V8 engine.
And what was the asking price? A cool USD$75,170 (about CAD$99,000), slightly more than what the luxury coupe is expected to go for when it goes on sale in Q1 of 2004. For more information on the BMW 645Ci, go to our new vehicle review archives and look for the 2004 BMW 645Ci Preview.
