I thought it was a great episode - loving how ruthless Rick is now. I used to get really annoyed with how much of a pussy he was in the early seasons but he's learning you have to do what you have to do to survive.
Spoiler:
Not sure if we still need spoiler tags for those that aren't caught up.
I'm surprised that with that attitude, they didn't go guns blazing after Beth was killed. Did anyone else burst out laughing at the way Michonne was going nuts with that axe in the church with the baby strapped to her back being whipped back and forth?
^Why would they? Beth did it to herself.
For those that subscribe to the drama in this show and not just the zombie action. I think this was a development on Beth's suicide attempt from season 2.Originally posted by freshprince1
First reaction to last night's episode was why spend all that time on that story line if you're just going to kill her off? But I guess they need something to talk about.
The line that tied this together for me is when she was talking to Dawn by the elevator and she said "this is it" meaning there is no fixing or changing the situation.
Beth took this chance to end her life because she had enough and it was her decision not to go on.
You sir, were correct hahaOriginally posted by sexualbanana
If anything were to happen to Beth or Carol, Daryl isn't going to take it very well.
Maybe I missed something in that final scene, but are you saying she stabbed Dawn with the scissors in an attempt to get her brains blown out the back of her skull?Originally posted by bigboom

She couldn't have expected no retaliation whatsoever...Originally posted by DJ Lazy

I think Beth sacrificed herself to save that Black dude

I would've liked to see Beth give that Cop Bitch a hot oil Massage.(in a hot sweaty room)
I didn't see the black guy leave the hospital at the end.

What I didn't like was how Rick said, "we'll take anyone who wants to leave here" and when they go out there's not a single person in tow. Kind of embarrassing, why put that there if no one was going to go with them. lol
the black guy was with them when they left
They stayed cuz they only didn't like Dawn now that she's dead the hospital is a nice place. ..
lol yeah they have activities like sewing and cleaning haha. they painted a picture that it wasnt just Dawn or maybe the ones Beth killed were the most rotten
Dawn and the system they had wasn't even that bad relative to to the "communities" that existed outside the hospital. Nothing is free, and everything has a price regardless of where it is. Not saying I'd be chilling there but it sure beat Terminus.

What about the fact that the women were being raped in the hospital?
Thought the most clever part of the whole episode was the walkers in the church and "The man who eats my flesh and drinks my blood will have eternal life." above them
THATs how they start the season??? Wtf .
I liked it from a production standpoint. .. some really cool scenes and nice soundtrack... writing wise not so great but not bad didn't see that coming.
