I've been on a watch buying spree lately, and Mrs. Pacman is not very happy. So, I have to sell a couple of watches in order keep things civil in the house.
Up for sale is a Breitling Navitimer Cosmonaute
Price is $2,900 obo (If you are going to make an offer, please keep it reasonable, and keep in mind the MSRP of this watch is over $6,000)
This watch is in excellent condition, and comes with all the boxes, hangtag, manuals, sliderule, warranty papers and the COSC certificate.
It has some minor surface "swirles" on the case. The sapphire crystal is free of any scratches. There are a couple of really hard to see scratches on the antireflective coating on the crystal.
The serial # is on the back of the watch, and matches all the paperwork (I have blacked out the serial in the photos)
This watch is the rare version, with the Lemania 1873/1877 handwind movement, which is the same movement that goes in the famous Omega Speedmaster "Moonwatch", but modified by Breitling to replace the 12hr gear with the 24hr gear.. Breitling no longer has access to these movements, so they now use the more common ETA in the current Cosmonautes.
Unlike the Speedmaster movement, this Breitling version is COSC chronometer certified!
The watch is keeping time to +4 seconds per day and the chronograph functions and resets perfectly without any issues.
I'm also open to trades for other watches, and can add up to $1,000 if value adjustment is required.
The diameter is 42mm
The lug width is 22mm
The height is 14mm
The watch comes on the near new, Di-modell Rallye strap as pictured. I also have the original Breitling leather strap (black with white stitching with Breitlng tang buckle) in used, but good condition.
Please feel free to ask any questions via PM
If you are concerned about authenticity, I have no problems meeting you at Calgary Jewellers for verification.
Thanks
James
