Can you please post a diy on how you prepped the body , primer , and layered the paint also how you wet sanded. i am very intrigued by your work and going to attempt this in my garage and hoping for the same results.

That's a lot you just asked me to do, I watched a ton of YouTube videos, from backyard specialists to actual professionals, you pick up on a ton of things if you actually pay attention, get a test panel and screw around with it, smash it with a hammer and fix the dent and paint it, see how it looks, me spending 3 hours doing a writeup isn't going to help you.
Started my door panels
Here's a quick pic
Bump for updates

So I guess you can't wetsand and polish single stage paint when there is any metallic flakes in it, mind you mine has like 6 different shades, so I ended up respraying it due to me wetsanding and polishing it kind of ruined the paint a little, it dulls out some of the flake making the paint change colors under certain light. I just finished spraying, I'll post more pics when it's polished.
Saw the car today and it's amazing the amount of work and the quality of craftsmanship that went into it. Looking forward to seeing it on the road

So I have started wetsanding again, it is turning up pretty good as the image in the paint has become much clearer, it turned out a little foggy because of lack of fans to remove overspray, none the less here's some pics from what I have done so far.
A little foggy, but lots of clear on it.
Nice even color
This stuff is all wetsanded, some of it isn't complete yet though
Here's a pic to show the clarity that comes out of wetsanding, it's not finished but just a side by side of where I started and where I didn't do yet
So I have finished wetsanding the car and have started polishing it, it is turning out really nice, I'm just going around the whole car stage 1, then stage 2 ect. No need for constantly changing pads. Anyways here's some pics
PHHHHREEEESHHHHHHHH!
Put some wheels on and roll the bitch out into the sun.
Soon enough, my clutch and flywheel are on the way, then I can put my engine in, and I should be getting sway bars sometime soon as well as a manual steering rack, then my car will be more ready to put on the ground
I'll have a lot more polished tomorrow i had some stuff to do today so I didn't get to do much.
Beautiful work man.
This looks great! Highly impressed I can't wait to see this roll by the house meng

Incredible work my man !
So I finished power polishing, I'm pretty pleased with the results, I haven't waxed it yet I'm waiting for the paint to cure longer, I've heard your supposed to wait 3 months!!! I dunno if I'm gonna wait that long, I need to read up on it more I don't feel like screwing this paintjob up potentially by being impatient. Anyways here's some pics
So sick, Derek. Great work man!
