If I could afford it, I'd buy it and drive it year round. I DD'ed a GTI year round, this would just be even better.

drive in reverse to have rwd and is it oversteer when it's rear steer?
I do like the previous gen more than this thought that design is too busy. Somewhere between the two will be ideal.

Yes, that was the wrong move. Buying a Trackhawk for a winter beater would be the right move. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
@rage2 and @gpomp If you guys had vehicles that made some decent power, you'd recognize that awd is way more useful then 5-10 days a year. Rain, cold roads, 2" of snow, these are all scenarios where you need awd to blow the doors off of the Toyota Camry that caught the light beside you while coming out of downtown.
I like neat cars.

$74,000 for anything FWD should be a crime punishable by public caning at a minimum.

Given the 2021 Type R was $46k (50+ for the limited), it's gonna easily be over $50k...

A sport touring Hatch is pushing 40k... the type R will be 55k+ to start me thinks
Has anyone gotten any updates from their dealers? I have placed a couple deposits with a few dealers and one has called me saying they will refund as they most likely will not be able to fulfill my order. Anyone that has any insight on how many units we are going to actually get in Canada? Seems like its all rumours about low production for Canada.
