I think it's wrong to mock the retarded on video. Whether it's Life Goes On, Barbara Walters or this guy, it just doesn't bring me joy to laugh at them.
    Not laughing at him.
Laughing at all the weatherpeople just pumping this rain forecast.

Guess I just assumed he's mocking the weathermen and their reporting of this rain.

Get real. I was looking for an excuse to call Barbara Walters retarded.
    You didn't film the video.

Crowsnest got 25 mm in past 6 hours, so its on its way. I suspect you'll see some proactive road closures tomorrow/wednesday, but they have learnt at least a bit from 2013 with dam management. Ghost is essentially empty

why do the olds and strathmore feeds look so different? i know strathmore is an environment canada radar, but it looks way crazier than olds.

Think olds has a much smaller radar. If you change the settings the Olds one looks more similar

The standard setting for olds is the one that predicts hail not rain. It's a settings thing.

Living at the top of the hill is a better solution. You know the saying about which way dookie flows.

City declared a state of emergency either yesterday or today, i heard it on 660 news.

In listening to 770 and their weather psychic giving their opinion on this storm versus 2013, is that the temps in the mountains and at elevation are still cool, and for the most part are expecting additional snow on the current snowpack, not rain causing it to melt faster, and so they do not believe that there will be any significant flooding, never mind a 2013 flood.

Declared today 3:30pm. Allows activation of the emergency operations centre and some resources in fire, police and other protective services.

Mostly an administrative action at this point, but prevents delays in case conditions deteriorate.

That’s a lot of OT for city employees over a nothing burger.
