Default Autostart alarm and starter system

    Need Help:

Have an Autostart in my truck - it is a two-way starter system with full alarm. Everything worked until one day I could use the start option. Now with the cold weather I am sore that I don't have it. Can someone tell me where to start since the alarm and doors all work but the start option.

    Thanks

go to like visions, where it was prob installed and ask them to reconfigure it usually if you press to many buttons it jams the system
You've been ruining everybody's life and eating all our steak.

Yep, should be just a simple reconfiguration and you'll be on your way. Take it back to where you got it installed.

The same thing happened to me too! My 2 way won't start the car, but will open the door locks, this happened a year ago. I got mine installed at CMS but but it was closed down around summer 07. Anyone have an idea where I could bring mine to get fixed?

if it will lock the doors but wont start it is probably in Valet Mode.

if it is only a few years old it is easy to take it out.

Turn your ignition on and of 5 times is succession, your parking lights will flash and it should take it out.

If the lights dont flash it is an older unit and yo should book it in somewhere to look at it.
