    Default Extra Wide Curtain Panels

Where would I go to get extra wide curtain panels? The widest i've seen is 100" wide but i'm looking for something between 120 to 140" inches wide. Anyone have suggestions? I've been told for that wide i would need to go custom with someone who makes them.

Do you mean a single panel more than 100 inches wide? Or a window that's more than 100 inches?

This is one of the top google. Results and will absolutely make single panel curtains over 140 inches each.

i'm not sure if any of these work with top mount sliders and not using a rod. Will have to look deeper, thanks

My wife has sewn her own because of this issue before… Is your wife a sewer?

Could always just use fabric tape and two minutes of ironing if you can live with that.

Unfortunately she's not a sewer. We got a quote for drapes in the living room and it was $2400. I haven't gotten drapes in a long time but it doesn't seem to hard to hand myself with ceiling mount tracks.

Heck if I can make a salad bowl coffee table then I can do this lol

Haha that was a good one. That will not fly with the misses.

But hanging drapes isn't rocket science. Who would have thought the material was so expensive

It's extremely UV resistant, so there's a cost impact compared to an upsidedown Scarface skeet blanket purchased next to the fireworks trailer on an Indian Reserve.

    1) buy narrower fabric
    2) sew it together yourself
    3) realize the quality of your workmanship sucks
    4)....
    5) profit?

Maybe you can drive out to the parking lot of a Fabricland and pick up a Filipino Grandma for a cash job?

My wife is a white, red head American and she can so like a pro! For something like this, just buy two narrower panels of something she likes and sew 'em together. Not hard to sew a straight line.

Edit - Pro tip though... Don't get your wife into sewing if you ever want to save money. Sewing shit makes car shit look cheap! My wife has a specialty sewing machine for quilting that today would cost us $53,000 USD plus shipping from the state and assembly. Her two daily use machines are worth about 10K. I would be sick to think about how much money she has spent on fabric.

Sewing is easy, threading the machine not as much. Home-ec stuck with me though and I can do it with my eyes half open.

Side note, the 'Similar Threads' section brought up this - Beef Curtain Removal hahaha NSFW. Ask Leo of course.
