Yes you need a park pass.

Are they registered to vehicles like the Kananaskis pass or can I find someone to borrow one from for the weekend? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

You can borrow. Technically not, because the passes are supposed to be signed by the purchaser, but we've all lent ours to friends all the time. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Edit: we haven't bought one yet and aren't sure if we are this year, otherwise if lend you mine.

mirror hang-tag style and you are for sure not allowed to borrow it and they have no way of knowing if you do, so scouts honor bro.

That’s good then, I guess I’ll need to make a thread closer to the date to trade beer for a pass haha
See Crank. See Crank Walk. Walk Crank Walk.
I’d take a drive through prior. Tunnel mountain is basically as car camping as it gets and the sites are crazy close together.
IMO it’s only draw is you can walk into Banff for a beer and dinner.
Camped there a lot as a kid but it wasn’t nearly as bad 20 years ago.

Yeah, not the usual camping I do. Usually do Mt Kidd for an end of season trip, but a few people wanted to try this for some hiking and go into Banff for a birthday. Two nights of camping is cheaper than one night of hotel it's full service as well, which means I can completely clean the trailer out and winterize when I leave. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. As long as you are eyes wide open it should be a good time

Doing your last camping trip of the year at a full hookup site is kind of genius. I approve.

Which section of TM? I think it's Village II that's really close together. Village I is spread further apart and is quite nice. The Trailer Court are all pull thrus and you're very far apart but there's still no privacy and no fires allowed. Absolutely amazing views though on some of the spots.
Edit: yeah, II is the squished one. Stayed there one year as I was being renovated.
edit: wow really missed this whole page.. whoops
Have a one nighter at backcountry campground LM8 June 19 up for grabs if anyone’s interested
Went to Kinbrook Island last weekend. Pretty nice spot, except there was a tornado warning near Brooks the evening before we left.
This Carseland place is ExtraSlow approved. Not busy, trees for shade, buncha birds, space between the sites. Beats little bow.

I didn’t even know tires had genders.
Sufficient is such a depressing bar

Duratracs can be pretty rank rotten to drive on day to day, especially the 10 plys on a 1/2ton
Those Xforce AT2s you have are 10 ply right? Probably way smoother than a set of DTs
