This case is on the extreme side, but a family friend with stage 4 cancer was told to stay home if they get covid, as with their other comorbidities they would simply be triaged and sent home as there is simply not enough room in the hospital to treat them. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. So some anti-vaxxer is potentially stoppping them from recieving the treatment that they would need.
Risk of getting Mycoarditis? WAAAAAY higher from covid than vaccine. it was posted somewhere in the coronovirus sub-forum I'm certain. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Alex Stalock is still dealing with it after contracting Covd in November 2020 when with the Wild: https://www.si.com/hockey/news/alex-...eart-condition
My memory was a much larger multiple. But whatever. Basically every risk of every possible outcome for every demographic is higher with the virus than the vaccine. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

We discussed in locker room last night, surgeon Cardiologist on my team says Myocarditis is common risk associated with pretty much every vaccine and viral infection of this type and the majority of cases he's seen go back to normal without permanent damage. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Anyone create their QR code yet? It can’t be useful until the verifier app is available to business, right?
The numbers vary but I've seen anywhere from 6X to 10X greater risk from COVID. A cousin on FB posted an article a couple of weeks ago, ranting about the government not doing anything regarding 104 youths (ages 10-24, iirc) in Ontario who had developed myocarditis after getting vaccinated. I ran the numbers for those age groups, using the total number vaccinated in those groups in Ontario, and it worked out to around 0.005% that get myocarditis. I couldn't find Ontario data on myocarditis after COVID, but AB's data put it at around 0.04%, iirc. I would double check but FB is broken. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Ya not useful yet. Created and imported into my health app anyways because why not. I’m still showing the image for verification. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

BC restaurants wouldn't accept the Alberta vaccine card; had to be a QR code. So now I can go in with a card they can't scan

Ha - no the restaurants wont allow you access without a QR based code. The original alberta passport stopped working on sept 13th - after that the facilities insisted it had to be QR code, nothing else was acceptable. Before sept 13th, it wasn't a problem, now with a QR code they can't read / check it isn't a problem... But those days between, it definitely was. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

It's a long long way from a bullet proof system.
This is not correct. Anytime you receive healthcare in BC (including receiving a vaccine), they automatically assign you a BC Healthcare card number. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Non residents cannot be issued a BC QR code ID, because they don’t have access to your vaccination records. So yea, their QR code system only applies to BC residents.
This isn’t complicated.
