Aw crap, I just phoned up. Both the oval and the drag strip are closed for secret streets tonight
no surprise, weather is crap
I guess, but I was hopeful. It's dry here in Bowness.
Damn, cancelled!
I missed the last 5 weeks now, this sucks. Doesn't it end soon?

Yes, yes!!! That would be an awesome race. WRX VS Audi S4 Both all wheel drive, both turbo. Audi has more horses but is also heavier.Originally posted by Vagabond142
Next week, Pit, next week. Hopefully by then we can convince Fluidic to drag against ya.
I don't understand.
The weather tonight was absolutely fine. The forecast said it was going to be fine (as of this morning)
The clouds were looking great once I drove all the way from Scenic Acres (NW) down to Race City only to find the gates closed. Bone dry down there.
The one night I take off all summer to go down there... and it's closed.
Cold temps plus rain in the past few days means puddles on the track and mud in the pits. Not good for business.
Yeah, I guess I never really thought of that...Originally posted by Aleks

It was just so disappointing. Friday nights are so difficult for me to take off work.
Oh well. Maybe I'll make it one night before Oct 1st. Let's hope so!
Whens closing day? I wanna try and get one more night in.
Friday, Sept 30 will be the last day of Secret Street.

The rest of the week looks pretty good so far according to the weather network, so keep your fingers crossed
I'm going to try to hit the 1/4 mile for the first time (ever) in the 626 GT.
I've read though msut of the Calgary drag race association website and rules and such - is there anything else I should keep in mind besides listening to what the staff has to say, making sure the car is completely empty, and having my helmet on?
I like your thinking.Originally posted by Vagabond142
