'89 Accord EX-i, HVAC fan stopped: help!

My GF's got an 89 accord EX-i, and just a couple days ago the HVAC fan quit outright, no warning no groaning, just quit. I looked through the under dash and underhood fuses, found a single fuse gone, just the interior light one, but could not find an HVAC fuse anywhere!! I would sure assume that it would be fused, it has been in other cars of mine. I would also assume that the blower motor would not just quit, it was going strong without a hickup. Also, the little motors controlling the vent/hilow/defrost.etc all still work, and when you click on A/C the rad fan starts, so everything works but the blower motor....any suggestions?

take apart the dash...and then with jumper wires bypass the switch and run it on full...if it works then, you have a swtich issue. If it STILL doesn't kick in you have a blower motor issue. Barring that all fuses and relays are still good.

ugghh, I'll try the relay first, don't have a spare, other than that I'm thinking motor......
