Its so frustrating working in the industry.... Everyone wants an exceptional job and doesent want to pay anything for it... Then they complain that the finished job(from the cheapest shop) doesent look or perform the way they expected. I'd rather pay a fair price for a good job, and get it done ONCE without hassles. Having to pay another shop to fix the cheap job done the first shop will cost more in the end.

I am not saying in any way that low cost autobody does low quality work.

For body work out of the three I'd say RPM, for anything to do with alarms and stuff, maybe the other two.

If you are getting a fiberglass kit than goto a bod shop to install it 'cause they are b**** to put on and NEVER fit right. The body shops can make them fit better than we can. As for urethane the are pretty simple and fit great.

I've heard RPM does really good bodywork, maybe 90% of the bodywork comments i've heard from them was good.

A $600 paint job would still suck. Good paint alone would cost more than that. Im guessing you havent seen a maaco paint job? The $239 special You get what you pay for.... scuff and splash..

what about a body shop that would shave off emblems and bumper markers and such. ya know some custom work.

would you guys still recommend low cost autobody or RPM? what about maranello's?

Maranello's has installed two full bodykits for me now.....they take a little longer than your regular bodyshop so if you don't mind waiting.....their work is simply amazing......my jaws completely dropped when I picked up my car
