Default Things to do in San Francisco

Going to the Bay Area next week. I have a couple of things on my plate already, such as going to a 49ers game vs the Colts and going on the Napa Valley Wine Train.

Anyone have any other suggestions for things to do there? Just hoping to catch something that is not so well known/off the beaten path.

    Walk around the Tenderloin
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague.”

If you are up in NAPA valley you can check out Infineon raceway, there is lots of shops by the track with neat stuff (racers group).

Also check their schedule maybe they have something cool racing that weekend.

    Thanks for the replies.

I have been to San Francisco before and done the typical tourist stuff. Just looking for off the beaten path ideas and some of these are great ideas which I will be trying to convince my wife to go to.
