At 3:13 AM Calgary EMS responded to a reported stabbing in a
pub on Millrise BV SW. Once the Calgary Police Service had
secured the scene, paramedics assessed and treated a 20-year
-old male that was suffering from two stab wounds – one to
his chest and one to his abdomen. The man was conscious and
breathing, and was transported to the Foothills Hospital in
serious but stable condition. His injuries are not believed
to be life threatening.
At 3:17 AM, only 4 minutes after the first stabbing,
paramedics responded to the 4800 block of Dalton DR NW where
a 20-year-old male had been stabbed once in the left side of
his chest. He was transported in serious but stable condition
to the Foothills Hospital; his injuries are also considered
non-life threatening.
Both men are extremely fortunate, as injuries of this nature
are often critical and life threatening.
The Calgary Police Service is investigating both incidents
and they will provide any further information.
