Can I keep my Telus Mobility Number if I switched to FIDO?

hey guys what's up
i'm wondering if this is available yet. I heard that the CRTC wanted to streamline this so that numbers can be interchangeable within providers.

My phone with Telus has recently died, RIP, and i'm planning on going to FIDO because their plans are fairly better, plus they bill by the second. However i DO NOT want to lose my number.

so does anybody know if number swapping is possible now?

the only thing I don't like about it is whenever im reading posts on here and I see it my body just stops whatever its doing and forces me to stare for a couple of seconds... i dont even do it on purpose, lol, its just hypnotic.
