"Got the car back from the operating table"

Well after almost 2 years of not getting around to this i have finished my body work and the car is just getting sprayed as i write this. I cut out and welded in new rear 1/4 panels and did all the work myself with a little help from my dad " he did the welding"

My car got hit and run last winter this is the big reason for the body work and paint. LOL as some of you know i have been driveing around with a primed hood for ever!!!

Anyways here are a few teasers ill get pics tomarrow when shes all done! let me know what you think of the color!!!

Oh and this is the first time doing body work so im crossing my fingers that it turns out ok!

Are you painting your car yourself?? If not can you let me know how much it will cost you, I'm thinking of getting my civic painted and have no idea how much it'll cost.

Well i did the body work prep and the primer work but im getting a guy that owns a small body shop right next to my dads shop to paint it just the final color coats! You can cut down the cost buy doing it yourself ALOT but you need someone to guide you along as did the owner of this small shop did for me.

what did the new rear 1/4 panels cost u? and where did you get them.... hopefully over the winter I can get mine replaced.

I plan on doing mine in the spring so I am curious as well.

The cheapest I could find was like 110 a piece at this place off barlow, near Devry somewhere. I looked them up in the phone book. ACP doesnt sell them according to the guy who I phoned there.

110 a piece is a very reasonable price for quarter panels... considering ones for my car are $1,100 a piece. lucky honda guys.
