I played it yesterday at the Chinook theatres, and now I'm hooked!
Where can I get a card to save my stats and such?
The people behind the counter looked at me like I wasn't speaking English when I asked for one...

damn i was at chinook just 2 days ago and it wasnt even hook up ! or i would've just played that instead of watching the movie

Yah me too....I'm hooked now. Got my very own card...one with girls on them. I have a yellow RX-7.

I don't know how the option A, B, C thing works though

You just put 2 dollars in and it will ask you if you have a card or not...then you just press start and it should take you to a screen to prompt you to put in more money for a card...then you choose your card and type in your name. After you're done playing the card will eject if you don't continue.

laurier does not plan on skipping school tommorow to play inital d. well i am for sure going there at lunch and playing. when you save a game i take it you can only play that game on the machine you saved it on right? cause i have 4 games going down at eau claire.

Ok.
You put in your money (2 dolla at most places, 6 tokens at EauClare) and It will ask you about buying a card Now, put in (2 more dollars, or 6 more tokens), depending on what you put in before) And it will say CARD PURCHASED in big green letters.

The card buying screen is at the start...It has 3 or 4 of the characters standing infront of a regular screen and its like "Hey! I heard you can buy cards!" and it goes on like that, and says if u want to buy a card, insert money, if no, press start to skip...

If u buy card...
Then, it goes the regular screen, and you pick your car, and options. The option A, B, C is for wheels and exterior mods.
As you race, you collect points based on win loss, and distance in lead...You use those points to mofidy your car...Following the guidelines of your option. (My yellow Option C fd for example, has bronze 5 spoke rims, instead of the Mazdaspeed option A rims)
Also, after the first time playing, (the time you bought your new card) the card will be ejected when you decide to stop playing
You can use your card at ANY initial D station, not just the one you bought it at.

Oh man you guys started playing that game?
Heh bad move, now you all are gonna be hooked on it, and spend an ASS load of money on it. But if you guys are rich then it's ok.
I started playing that game like october last year, and got hooked for a while. Shit I spent like 100 bucks on that damn game. Man 100 bucks on a game, shit I could have saved that money for other stuff. Ah well can't do anything bout it now, but it the game was fun as hell.
