Default Politics : Image is everything?

Watching CTV NewsNet, they had an article about image is everything in politics.

Probably does make an influence (where does image doesn't usually in the public's eye).

They showed clips of Paul Martin, Steve Harper, and Jack Layton drinking water during their speeches.

Both Paul and Steve were drinking out of a crystal glass and Jack was drinking from a 'dixie' cup.
