Default Mr Rogers died today !

Fred Rogers, who gently invited millions of children to be his neighbour as host of the public television show Mister Rogers' Neighborhood for more than 30 years, died of stomach cancer early Thursday. He was 74.

This is very sad, I remember back in the day when Mr. Hooper from Sesame Street passed away too.

I used to watch Mr. Rogers all the time, it was always back-to-back with Sesame Street. A part of my childhood.

I still remember how he had the magic trolley that rode on rails that went through his house, and every episode he would take off his sweater, hang it up and change his shoes. At the end of the episode he would change his shoes, put his sweater back on and leave.

"I'll be back when the day is new
And I'll have more ideas for you.
And you'll have things you'll want to talk about.
    I will too."

    RIP Fred Rogers
"All these years I thought it was power that brought responsibility. It's not. I was wrong. It's responsibility that brings power. It's knowing what needs to be done that brings strength. And courage." - Peter Parker, Earth X

Mr. Rogers was great. I grew up with him. Him, and the Friendly Giant. They were both GREAT.

Mr Rogers was great! I used to watch that show religiously when I was small because We had a train set in our house much like the trolly. It would come out of all these l337 spots.

I never likes his shoes or sweaters though, they reminded me of insulation for houses.

He was one Geriatric whom I really liked.

I used to hate the fact that he'd change his "outdoor" shoes for his perfectly clean white shoes and sweater all the time too. It's a shame...time flies by.

I never watched the show. I watched Mr. Dressup.

Pretty bland guy, but sad to see him go.

The friendly Giant has a Rooster and Gerome the Girraffe, and a Rocking chair he always pulled out for ya. It was great, even though the models were ghetto.

Then followed the PolkaDot Door, that was great too, then the Polkaroo came by everyone lost their fuckin minds and went ape shit.

Followng that was Todays Special, I always waited for the day when some robber would break into the store and go to work on that fuckin manican with a baseball bat. I'de stuff that hat of his up Crenshaws ass and Muffy would be bathing in rat poison plumbed into her hizzouse...
