Yeah well I wonder how they get the soft flowing caramel inside the Caramilk bar but you don't see me making a god damn thread about it. Slap your wife Baygirl, straighten him out.

I went to the Audi Factory in Inglostaldt, what a brilliant place, very simmilar in allot of ways. It was so clean, you could litterally eat off the floor. I couldn't believe it.

    Wow, very nice!

This is what happens when carmakers don't have unions sucking money out their ass.

(AFAIK, VW only has unions in Mexico.)

Is the audi A8 hand built? I used to wonder who would buy the phaeton over the A8, but maybe the handbuilt aspect has something to do with it.

Reminds me of the McLaren technical factory where they make the McMerc SLR... soooooo clean, and very "modern" with the centerpiece of the entire factory being a 2004 F1 car under a glass floor

Heh, I thought they closed down the Phaeton plant. There are some pictures there that I never seen before. The last article was this one:

VW actually has to deal with an extremely powerful union in germany, probably more powerful than an american equivalent. this could be why the plant is so pimpery

They cancelled Phaeton in North America due to poor sales. Plant is probably still there.

The Phaeton is cancelled ONLY in NA... it's still manufactured and sold in Europe, Asia, Oceania, and South America
