New Firefox Extension: QuickChat
Hey i'm using this new extension and i love it, other than there is never anyone else usually chatting in it. Basically it opens a chat channel for what ever site your on.
Easy way to get a beyond chat room going i think.

its not listed in the extensions of firefox yet.

I think beyond has thought about a chat room before, but then it would defeat the purpose of really having a discussion forum in the first place wouldn't it?

i agree and disagree with it taking away from the forum. yea some banter can go on in the chat room, but if somebody wanted a in depth discussion, the forum is the place to go.Originally posted by toyboy88

but every week seeing a new "i have 5000 what car should i get?!?!?" thread pop up (yup ive started about 80 of those) can just get annoying haha

I think that the quickchat is a great way to have a little chatroom going. Too bad when I went on it there was no one else in it.

I think this extension works for whatever actual page you're viewing, not all of beyond.....so everyone who wants to chat would have to be here, or viewing the same page, thread, etc, not the whole site....that really reduces the usefulness unfortunately
