Exclamation Place to stay/live in Calgary

I'm not sure if I'm going to have a place to stay in Calgary 100%, even if I do and I find a better place/deal I'd go there instead.

You guys know of anything not to far away from DeVry, safe for my car to be parked (or even a garage )??? I'm moving there around July 1st, 2003.

I'm a pretty good guy, clean, honour role student (if that says anything ) and good to get along with.

I'm sure you can find some halfway houses or a crack house or something that will have some tenants that won't bust your chops that bad... as long as your not a rat and can mind your own business you should be fine for a semester or two.
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague.”

Devry is in the NE, sort of by Max Bell. (Barlow and Memorial) If I remember correctly.

There is also a train station right by it. The roads going NW - NE tend to get quite congested during rush hour. Depending on where you're coming from in the NW, the easiest routes are
    John Laurie/Mcknight
    Memorial Drive
    16th Avenue...

All of these roads get quite backed up. Well actually most roads do come to think of it...

Ever notice everyone from Devry has a 4.0 gpa? Every resume I get that comes from a Devry student their gpa is at least 4.0. I often wondered if they are able to get 4.0 why are they paying such high tuition for a mediocre institution?

Apparently you are the only person that doesn't see that Devry is a bastardization of education, but thats okay, go pay 400% more for 400% less.

If you're looking to rent in the N.E. part of the city, consider Mayland Heights. It's a small, isolated community near DeVry.

A friend's parents lived in Mayland Heights for over a decade and thought it had way lower crime than in Marlborough, Rundle, and Pineridge (where they lived previously).

Better look at renting with garage privileges if you plan to bring your RSX to Calgary.

Find me a place where I can get out 1yr earlier then and get my degree. Think of the advantage of that. You can get a out and be in the work force a full year earlier and earn a year's salary, not to mention to average 95% job success rate within 100 days of being done school. Until then have a nice a day.
