    Default Vetro Sasso Condo

Anyone have any info on this condo? I have been to the website, but it does not list any prices, or say when it will be built. Does not say if there are any suites left either. This is the giant condo being built on mcleod beside stampede station if you guys are wondering. If anyone has any info on this condo, or has purchased a suite, please share.

    Thanks

    Hey

    I had a Sasso unit before...1 br 1 bath 750 (??) sq ft..

that time it was about $180xxx, but I backed out of it (probably about 9-10 months ago)

Wasn't too crazy about the features or location of the building.

I also remember for Vetro (i think that's the first complex) they had a few leftover units, and were offering pretty good 'incentives/deals' on them (at that time)

well just like with home builders these days it's going to be hard to pin down a cost until you buy...even then it is still subject to change.

That's insane. I paid ~254/sq foot for my condo and the location is superior to any of those (in my opinion).

Just a sign of the times.

A friend of mine bought a unit over a year ago at the Stella. She paid $214K. We thought she was crazy. That same style of unit is going for $260K on MLS and the building isn't even complete. Once complete, it will probably go for $280K. This is for 750 sqft. Insane.

I have two units at The Montana on hold... dunno whether to commit or not.

Hopefully Calgary doesnt turn into Toronto when it comes to condo value.

In downtown Toronto there was a condo boom and dozens of buildings were being built simultaneously. People were all getting in early and in the end a number of the buildings were 5-10% vacant once construction was done. Also a number of condos were being "flipped" and the real estate market was flooded with people selling their "investments".

Take a look at the number of condos forsale in GTA on mls.ca right now. I did a search that was between Bloor and the lake and between Yonge and Adalaide. There are almost 500 condos forsale in that area alone under $400k each... and thats only ONE small section of downtown Toronto.

I drive by there daily. Looks like some equipment has shown up and a few piles of materials but nothing else.

Every time I think to myself: Who wants to live here?

Roughly right behind the sales office on haddon road.

The area is composed of a couple of used car dealerships, 2 bottle depots, a train station and some light industrial shops and manafacturing buildings.

Hardly a nice neighbourhood and definatly not one that brings up images of London.

Nice try though condo-developers, I'm sure the E-type sucked in alot of people.

My friend is selling her Sasso condo that has never been occupied.

It's on the eighth floor and the unit is facing the Calgary Tower and the entire downtown core.

It's plate name is "Dante", when you're looking at the Sasso floor plans.

Don't hold me to this, but she's looking for $230 I believe.

PM me if you have any more questions.

They bought that ad campaign from another developer who did a project in Toronto.
