    Default Any good Buffets?

Couple friends are back in town for the long weekend and we were looking to go to a buffet.

I did a quick search, but I am hoping people can name some more places with good buffets.

    Thanks in advance

LOL that place is great, they say they have over 90 items, but you look at some trays, they have onion rings, fries and pizza pops.

treasures, and regency palace are pretty good for chinese.....but i wouldn't go to either, they were ok when we were kids, and wanted quantity over quality, but now i would rather spend the same money elsewhere and get some good quality food instead of pigging out

The first and only time I went there, both my wife and I got sick from the food. There is a huge selection, but it isn't prepared very well and everything tends to taste the same. If you like all of your food deep-fried and bland, then give it a try, but stay close to a bathroom just in case. Otherwise, pay a bit more for a proper meal.

If by good you mean tons of food for what you pay, then yes it's good. But at the same time, the food is also disgusting.

Best buffets I've had in Calgary:

    1) Petroleum Club
    2) Avison Young Club (at the Saddledome)

I can't help you get in, but for accessibility theres always the one at the Elbow Casino =P

Tried Smugglers Sunday brunch today. Two thumbs up. I recommend it over Mother Tucker's brunch.
