Nice conversion. But EK9 stands for hatchback and EJ is a coupe, Honda has never made a type R civic coupe
No shit, its probly off a JDM front clip that was used for this conversion. And technically it would be an EM1 coupe.Originally posted by Dirty_SOHC

Whoaah JDM Yo....
I think the reasoning behind spending all that money to go JDM is so you can have something that stands out, not in terms of looks, but in terms of owning something that's unique or hard to come by in North America.Originally posted by Glowrider

So tight, Yo dude thanks for posting the pics
That would've been a valid point, 3 years ago. I see "JDM" cars all over the place now.I think the reasoning behind spending all that money to go JDM is so you can have something that stands out, not in terms of looks, but in terms of owning something that's unique or hard to come by in North America.

I think its because people like a nice clean stock look, but still wanna look different from everyone else, so that's why JDM is the new trend. Although everyone's doing it, its still different from old grannies that drive their Civics, haha.
i dont really like the type r badge and the wing that much
civic coupe looks so nice and smooth without a wing IMO
Well put..Originally posted by Glowrider

JDM doesnt stand out... if japanese stock stands out more than usdm stock (besides black housing headlights), im really missing something...
BTW, that civic is wicked, although it doesnt look any different than mine did 2 years ago (again, besides the black housing headlights and the type R badging!)

But then again, it's also dependent on where you are located. If you drive a car that's JDM style in Calgary, much smaller city, you'll stand apart because there's not that many people around here who have cars with JDM parts on it. On the otherhand, if you drive the same car in Toronto where JDM is in abundance, then your point is very valid.Originally posted by Glowrider

but the car is right hand drive, that car wouldve had to be imported for that wouldn't it?
