Hello all,
I am looking to import a (new) vehicle from the States, but I've heard that Subie is the only manufacturer that will honour the warranty here in Canada. Does anyone have any experience with this?
TIA

Lexus will honor American warranties.
Not true. BMW NA also informed me that they will honor US warranties. A better way to research is to make a list of what cars you are interested in, and then call the manufacturer of each and the local dealerships of each to inquire.

to bad acura wont cars are SO much cheaper from the U.S. even after duty/taxes/import fees right now with the dollar
Thi_Thi Subs, care to elaborate on that?
What about Honda? A Minnesota dealer told me the other day that Honda dealers in Canada won't honour the US warranty.
honda/acura wont im pretty sure
i think he means they say it was your racing/abusing of the vehicle that caused the damage to deny warrenty laims
plain and simple. if you have a problem, subaru dealers dont really give a shit if they solve it or not. lol.Originally posted by Hombre
